The answer to this question is different than porcelain veneers. While porcelain veneers can last forever, cosmetic bonding usually lasts 5-10 years. We call this a semi permanent solution because it will most likely need either touched up, polished, or replaced every 5-10 years. They are still a great option, especially in emergency situations, or for our younger patients that have chipped, stained, or decayed teeth.
